Race Equality week, held every year here in the UK, exists to maintain the momentum needed for continued change to bring true equality to the workplace. Thousands of organisations are brought together to act on and address the barriers that create workplace inequality.

This years theme is #ListenActChange, a response to findings that show only 25% of the Race Equality Matters (REM) community believe their organisation focuses on actual change, rather than just tickboxing. 63% believe that less than a quarter of allies are serious about changes needed and while 44% felt their managers were committed to change, only 21% believed that any positive impact was being made.
