Third-Party Reporting Centres are crucial in tackling hate crimes and supporting victims.

You can help to ensure that victims’ voices are heard, incidents are documented, and appropriate support is provided.

This course will teach you about hate crime definitions, UK laws, and the difference between hate crimes and hate incidents. It will help you identify mate crime signs, and teach you how to report hate crimes using tools like the BHCA website and Just Log It. You will also appreciate how to support victims.

By the end, you’ll know how to recognise, report, and respond to hate crimes, helping to create safer, more inclusive communities.

This should take you about an hour to complete, and there’ll be a quiz at the end. If you’re ready to get started, please begin with the first topic “Hate Crime Definitions”.
