We all bring our own experiences, values, and assumptions into the way we see the world.

Often, this happens quietly and automatically, shaping how we think, respond, and relate to others without us even realising it. This course offers learners the opportunity to reflect and look more closely at the beliefs and biases that can influence our everyday interactions, professional judgement, and wider community relationships.

Through practical exercises, guided self-reflection, and exploration of key concepts such as unconscious bias, privilege, and cultural competence, learners will develop a deeper understanding of themselves and others. In doing so, they will be better equipped to challenge bias, respond more thoughtfully across difference, and contribute to safer, more respectful, and more inclusive workplaces and communities.

Now more than ever, our communities need compassion and understanding to challenge hatred and division. This course is detailed and as such, may take more than one sitting to complete. We encourage you to take time out to reflect on your learning. Your progress will automatically be saved so that you can resume learning at your leisure.  There will be a short quiz at the end and once you have passed that, you can download your certificate of completion.
